Dantonia is an exciting dressage/hunter prospect. She would do best with an experienced rider or one who works closely with a trainer. She is sensitive and responsive to aids, and learns quickly. With natural balance and three good gaits, Dantonia is expected to do well as she moves up the levels. Though her trot is lofty, it is easy to sit. She trailers well, has good ground manners, and is very sweet in the barn. Her pedigree for use as a broodmare is desirable - her grandsires are Don Schufro and Wildcard. She is scheduled to attend schooling shows and a mare inspection this summer. It has been said by one of her previous trainers, that Dantonia is going to be one lucky rider's "heart horse". Update: Dantonia did well at her first show! She competed in the USEF Intro C dressage test. She received 7.5 for Gaits, and the judge commented "Nice horse!"
