Romeo, Romeo, where art thou Romeo? Chocolate palomino, a total lady’s man, and gentle as the day is long are all reasons this is Romeo in horse form. Romeo is a total teddy bear that would much rather love on you than goof off with his friends in the pasture. This boy loves to put his head in your chest and just soak up all the scratches.
Romeo is at the prime age of seven and ready to go on to his forever home. This is a fancy broke, willing, and talented gelding. Romeo rides soft in the bridle and carries himself with grace. He has incredibly smooth gaits and rides off of your seat. He is a prime candidate for ranch riding classes and has been entered in small local shows. Romeo has a beautiful extended trot and will rate back to a walk with ease. One can ride him on a loose draped rein while still having responsiveness or gather your reins up and get some ranch work done. This is absolutely a more whoa than go kind of horse! If you like one that is always ready for you to say “whoa” then look no further! When you sit in your seat to stop, his hind feet will be under his belly.
On weekends there isn’t a horse show, be sure to load him up for a team roping jackpot as he is finished on BOTH sides. He’s perfect for those 3-6 numbered ropers, as he just goes out there and does his job. He is attentive and alert ready to do his job, but will always wait for his cue to go from his rider. This is the kind of horse that takes care of his rider first!
