Rae'sRedRocket is a 7 year old thoroughbred mare. She has had a lot of post track training, enjoys jumping and trails, but I don't think she is suited to be a show horse. She has had the last few months off, and I don't have the energy to get her going again. Therefore, she is being sold as a broodmare prospect, and I am not allowing test rides at this time. If you do want to ride her, you will need to be very experienced in schooling high strung horses. She can be great, but if she spooks she does make a big move that is hard to sit.

Rae has the best feet I've seen in a thoroughbred, goes barefoot, even when trail riding on tough surfaces, and can easily go months between trims. She is a lovely mover with a very smooth trot, and comes from great racing bloodlines (Tapit). Although she did not race well, I think she would pass on the conformation for it. She has a history of ulcers, which I think was responsible for her poor race record. She is currently on a grain free diet, which has greatly improved her willingness to go forward.

Rae is bargain priced for a quick sale at $1500. I can deliver her for a reasonable fee if you are less than 200 miles away. I can get her papers for you if you want, but that's an extra $500 for my time and the filing fees.
