Giana is a very typical purebred Akhal-Teke mare. She's registered with both the ATAA & VNIIK (Russian Studbook). She's blindingly metallic and, if I hadn't seen her sire and had her color genetics tested, I would think she was a dark buckskin. Since her DNA color test came back N/N for the cremello gene, however, she has to be a very light golden bay. She's already 15.2 hh so I am expecting her to mature to at least 15.3 hh like her Elite graded mother. She's had some natural horsemanship ground training and is good for the farrier and vet. I've been trying to get her under saddle training started but haven't been able to so far.
