Trainer's comments: Candyman is a lovely young gelding. The 1/4 Connemara really comes out in his A+ personality, willingness and lovely jump. Candyman is wonderful to handle and has three good gaits. He is easy to push forward, but is willing to slow down too. He is being mindfully started over fences with a further emphasis being placed on dressage principles on the flat. He is currently jumping small courses and gymnastics up to 2' over a variety of obstacles. He is showing great aptitude, lots of try, and is willing to trust his rider. He is schooling training level dressage including leg-yield and shoulder-in. He is gaining strength of carriage and ability to softly connect through contact everyday. He is very safe on the ground and under saddle. No buck, rear, or bolt and he safely hacks out. In training he has been exposed to a variety of machinery (semi, atvs, bicycles etc) and animals including dogs, cattle, chickens, goats, etc. Candyman would be suitable for an experienced youth (maybe looking for a safe step up) or amateur (maybe looking for a smaller mount) working with a trainer to continue his schooling over fences. He is still green and sometimes is apt to make green horse mistakes. Candyman is a wonderful Pony Club, hunter pony, eventing, or dressage prospect. He has the attitude and ability to be very versatile and take his new owner in one or more directions. He is a pleasure. Registered and microchipped. UTD shots, coggins,, and teeth.
