Moylough Stud is located in the West of Ireland. We pride ourselves in breeding, sourcing and supplying the very best Irish draughts that Ireland can offer.

Our stock are bred from our Champion Irish Draught mares or sourced as foals based on their quality and breeding. We are very picky and only buy the best so we can sell the best!!

Our resident stallions are Moylough Legacy and Moylough Supremacy.

Our resident broodmares include the former Dublin Champion Irish Draught Mare Moylough Pearl, the multi Champion Moylough Ruby and the 2022 Dublin Winner and Reserve Champion Irish Draught mare Moylough Broadway.

Our graduates have gone on to great accolades to include Supreme Champion of the UK Irish Draught Show, Champion at the American Breed Show, All Ireland Irish Draught Ridden Champion, RIHS, Hickstead Derby, Royal Windsor, Dublin, Balmoral and HOYS Champions to name a few.

We have a stunning collection of Irish Draught young stock coming through every year ranging from yearlings to three year olds- colt, fillies, mares and geldings. We always have an exciting bunch of three year old Irish Draught geldings coming through every year available from Spring so watch this space!! We can provide you with extensive photos and videos. All of our horses are open to full vetting and x-rays. You are also very welcome to visit our farm if you find yourself in our neck of the woods.

We have shipped to the States a number of times so can recommend tried and trusted transporters together with respected vets making the whole process hassle free.

The Irish Horse is famous worldwide and the Irish Draught Breed is often classed as the backbone of the Irish Horse. They are known and highly sought after for their quality and substance together with excellent temperaments that make them easily trained and a horse for everyone - one to excel in any sphere from hunting, showing, performance or leisure
