Felix is a tall drink of water at over 17 hands but is light in the bridle and responsive to the aids. He is a well rounded citizen who has a solid dressage background and has also spent most of his competitive energy in the jumper arena. Felix has been ridden extensively on the trails as well as worked cattle. He has been shown second level and will soon be ready for third. This boy also possesses an incredible talent for piaffe and passage like his mother Relevé.
Felix is my first born (horse that is). When my competition mare Relevé had to be retired due to an injury, my business partner and I produced this amazing boy. His temperament is everything we could have hoped for since he always tries his best to please his person. Forward without being crazy. No buck, bolt or rear. With his elastic movement and incredibly active hind leg, he is sure to make it to the Grand Prix arena.
Felix's sire Fürst Romancier needs no introduction as he has been a very important stallion and produced top performers in the Oldenburg stud book. I have personally ridden many of his offspring which is why I chose to pair him with my mare Relevé. Felix's mother Relevé, by Rotspon x Welt Klasse, bred by Gateway Farms was very successful all throughout her show career winning many USDF and CDS Horse of the Year awards. She has passed on her solid temperament and willingness to work as well as her talent for piaffe to this special boy.
