“Buckeye” is a 5 year old 14.3 hand AQHA buckskin gelding. Some people spend a lifetime searching for one as quiet and gentle as Buckeye! If you are wanting a horse with a laid back personality- this is your guy.
Buckeye is extremely broke, light in the face & one hand neck reins. Plenty of buttons, nice stop, floats through his gaits and picks up leads without hesitation- he is smooth as butter. He is more whoa than go and will not rush you. I cannot say enough about how patient and gentle this horse is, truly one of a kind.
Buckeye has logged hundreds of miles cruising down trails and been used in the stock yards. We have roped the sled and tracked live cattle on him, he shows a lot of promise as a rope horse prospect.
