Las Vegas is a 5 year old Quarter Horse x Percheron gelding standing 15.3 hands high. Vegas is many things but in one word, he is FUN! There has not been a single ride where we did not get off this horse with a huge smile on our face. If gentle, beautiful, and fancy is your thing, Vegas is your man! Impress your friends with his party tricks like sitting and laying down. Be the envy of your barn with his beautiful mane and flashy movement. And most importantly, love your well broke, educated, and safe horse no matter the job or discipline you do. Vegas is fancy broke the very best, as brave as they come. He is amateur friendly, and family approved! Las Vegas is the Rolls Royce of horses, he is top class luxury in every way. But, he is not just another pretty face, he truly wants to be your best friend and a member of the family. As lovely as he is under saddle, he is equally as lovable on the ground. In the ring, Las Vegas will blow you away with his moves. We have never had a draft cross that moves and rides like him. Whether you ride English, or Western, you will appreciate his education and way of going. He has three quality gaits, great transitions, lopes off from a standstill, and a soft mouth. He steers off the leg, neck reins, spins, does a sliding stop, and knows all of the lateral work. Vegas will have any rider feeling on top. He is so much fun and has the best attitude. He jumps a course in the ring, and is the bravest horse we have ever had out cross country. Seriously, he will blow you away with his honesty and bravery. This horse would jump through fire without a second thought. If you needed a horse to ride into battle, you'd be in good hands with Vegas. He has done (and won!) plenty of trail and obstacle competitions, working equitation clinics, and has a solid dressage/western dressage foundation. Take him to the upper levels, or enjoy a safe and well educated horse at home for years to come.
On the trails and off property, Las Vegas is fun and simple. He loves to go out on barn and family trail rides, hunter paces, and camping trips. He crosses water, is safe in traffic, and doesnโt get worked up by his surroundings. Hr rides alone or in a group with no issues. Vegas has won local trail competitions with ease, and always steps off the trailer ready to please. He pops over all the fences in hunt country. He has jumped large coupes, ditches, walls and more either ease and confidence.
