Percy, an absolutely beautiful Percheron Gelding standing 18.2 hh high. With a heart as big as he is Percy is a gentle giant. Coming to the fence to receive pets, lowering his head to be haltered, easy to lead, and good to be around this four year old gelding is everyone's favorite horse. He has been broke to drive a cart, and is exceptionally flashy pulling at the trot. Percy will pull alone or in a team, and has been used to teach younger horses to pull in a team of two. Percy is also broke to ride! He has been arena and trail ridden. Down the trail Percy goes along slowly and carefully taking care to place his feet. Both adult and youth riders have enjoyed Percy under saddle. Ridden single double and even triple Percy is big enough for the whole family to enjoy! This young horse is an excellent pasture mate having been turned out with quarter horse mares and geldings, including young and senior horses he is happy to have company and is gentle natured. Percy does well being stalled or pasture kept, and is sensible in turnout. In Photographs Percy is stunning and makes a beautiful model for equine photography. We have high hopes for Percy as he can earn himself a home doing almost anything from casual riding, to driving a cart, or as a photography model. whatever the job Percy has an excellent start and will be easy to introduce to his future career.
