Blue, also affectionately known as Blueberry, is an exceptional young horse and is going to make someone a once in a lifetime โheartโ horse. Blue is a coming 5 year old Brabant x Percheron cross gelding standing at 17hh, he is pure, kind and honest with a heart of gold. Blue is very adjustable and can ride English or Western. He can go on a cattle play day and hunter pace the next - or heโs as simple as riding up the driveway to get the mail. This guy is so pleasant to be around - he steals the hearts of everyone he meets! Blueโs been ridden on all sorts of terrain and is very sure-footed and willing at anything you put in front of him. He loves to trail ride and loves to play in water! Heโs ridden into town and is very unbothered by traffic, bicyclist, pedestrians and barking dogs. He loves going out, loves having a job and loves seeing new sites and sounds. Blue has 3 smooth, easy gaits and is very comfortable to ride. He rides in a snaffle bit and is very soft. He ties to anything, crossties, clips, bathes, stalls well, loads, hauls well, has great ground manners, he is not a pushy draft type AT ALL. He does great being turned out in a mixed herd and he stays lower in the pecking order. Blue is great for the vet and farrier, he is current on vaccines and had his teeth floated this past spring. He is currently barefoot but if his new owners would like him to come home with shoes I can easily have him shod before he leaves! Shipping is available and prospective buyers are welcome to have any vet of their choice do a pre-purchase exam, pull blood or x-ray.
A horse like Blue is truly the definition of once in a lifetime. You simply will not find another like him.
