Big & Beautiful, two things you don’t often get together. Matt is a solid thick made draft cross. He is 15.2 hands tall and weighs 1300lbs. He is very well made, nice head, with a big round hip topped off with that gorgeous buttermilk buckskin color. He is that ranch, mountain, husband horse that we get calls for all the time. He is solid in the mountains, seen many, many miles on the ranch and is our go to horse for any job. We have pastured roped on him and loaded cattle in the trailer off the mountain, lead pack strings of horses and put the kids him. We have taken him to town, up and down the busy highway, he's not bothered by fast moving traffic, semis or motorcycles. Matt gets along well with a mixed herd of horses, he's good in a box stall or corralled by himself. He will ride in any position of a group and he will ride out alone without any hassle. He goes where he is pointed, cross the river, though the rough rocky terrain, sure footed and solid. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental. He comes with complete vet records and has had a basic health exam done. He has a current coggins and all paperwork will be provided for him to travel to his new home.
