Introducing Nash! Nash is a gorgeous Dapple Grey Draft Cross gelding. He is 5 years old but rides like he is 15 years old. He stands approximately 15.3 hands tall and is built just right for a draft cross. Nash is a puppy dog on the ground. He loves to be brushed and loved on, heโll always meet you at the gate and stands anywhere you ask him. When I say he is Safe I mean SAFE! I have had lots of people ride him everywhere from complete beginners, to kids, and experienced horsemen and he is absolutely perfect for everyone. He isnโt spooky at all and never says no to anything you ask him to do. Nash is a fantastic trail horse that always takes care of his rider. He is very smart when it comes to tough terrain he will take his time and really watch his footing. He will lead follow, ride in the middle or go out alone. He is traffic safe and had no bad habits out on the trail. He donโt care if the horses take off in front of him heโll always keep a level head. I have been using Nash as a weekend trail guide horse and a spare horse for all my friends and family to ride. Not only is Nash a fantastic trail horse but he is a beautiful arena horse as well. He has a nice smooth collected trot and smooth slow easy lope. He picks up both leads and frames up beautifully if you want to take him to the show ring! He moves off leg and has a decent neck rein, though he is better with a 2 hand rein his neck rein is coming along nicely. Nash is a more whoa than go type horse but he does get up and go when asked. He has never taken a bad step. Nash will lay down on command and ground tie. He is up to date on vaccinations and coggins, dental and shod on all four feet ( he has great feet and wouldnโt need shoes but I keep them on just because we have lots of rocks) he stands perfectly still to tack, bath, stand tied to the trailer, has been hauled all over to group trail rides at different places. He loads and hauls quietly. Heโll pick up all 4 feet and stands great for the farrier and for the vet. He loves a bath and stands perfect for that. He is used to being stalled and turn out on pasture. He does great with time off you can get right on him and go without issue he has never bucked kicked or reared. He gets along great in the herd and doesnโt have a mean bone in his body. Donโt miss the chance to have this exceptional boy in your barn.
