Rose is nine years old, she has been used in lessons with children as young as three years old and up to small adults with disabilities. She rides out independently very well and also does well in a group. Rose is definitely more whoa then go though she can be encouraged to do anything she has asked. She crosses water ties on a high line for camping and is a very easy keeper. She has never had any injuries and has no sign of any lameness in her life. Rose has done two years of flag and drill teams and been in numerous parades. She is on the shorter side, but is well-built and can easily handle a small to medium size adult , Rose does not have show training but she has a very level head and would do great with a little bit of guidance for a junior 4-H Horse in western or English. She has more miles bareback than a saddle to be quite honest, and is very comfortable being ridden and whatever you put on her face . She really likes little kids and I would consider her as safe as a live horse could be for small children on the ground or mounted. Rose has been around people in wheelchairs and with various behavioral considerations and is never reactive. She would make a fantastic rodeo court horse because she never gets hot and is always happy to stand quietly in the middle of the arena, even after doing track runnings and carrying multiple sponsor flags, she is very calm. She loves water and enjoys being near a sprinkler when it is hot and she crosses water with confidence every time. She is very easy to be caught for small children, but can be a little bit of a show off for adults. If you have any kind of treats, she is very easy to catch. Dental and full vet exam with auto immune, thyroid, blood work completed 3/15/2024, no findings on the bloodwork. Additional PPE at buyers expense. Has never lived in a stall, has been stalled for events and travel but has never lived in a box. Please be prepared to answer questions about your boarding or pasture, this horse will only go to a good home. We are not desperate to sell. Daughter is going to college, it would be a shame for her to be left as pasture art.
