Looking for a horse that’s safe, versatile and absolutely gorgeous? Look no further than Pretzel! This loudly colored gelding is a registered Appaloosa foaled in 2010. He stands 15.1 hands with good bone and lots of shape. Pretzel has done a little bit of everything! He has been used as a rope horse and works on both ends as well as breakaway. He just won a check on the heel side in the 9.5 this last weekend with a roper who had never ridden him before! He is quiet in the box and scores great. He’s also been ridden out on the ranch and will open and close gates, and sort and push cattle quietly. Pretzel is fantastic out on the trails and rides along on a loose rein whether he’s alone or in a group. He will cross logs, water, deadfall, bridges and more! He is not a spooky horse and stays gentle and quiet in new places. Pretzel also rides beautifully under English tack too! He’s soft in your hands, moves off your leg and collects nicely. He even rides bareback in a war bridle or halter! Pretzel stands tied nicely, self loads into the trailer, loves bath time and is great for the vet and farrier. He is currently shod on all 4 and has great feet, clean legs and has never needed any maintenance. Pretzel will sometimes very rarely crib if left in a small stall for long periods of time, we’ve never had to use a collar on him because it is so minimal. He does not do this when he is turned out. He is a very easy keeper! Pretzel has been handled by kids and used for leadline and is a very sweet gentle boy with the young ones, letting them hug his legs and head.
