Remi is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! He is a paint percheron gelding who is 17.1h+ with more growing to do. He is going to be a big, fancy GIANT! He is a lovely mover and even has a great canter. He was purchased as a weanling from out west and was meant to be my “keeper” but too many mouths to feed is forcing this listing. Remi is the first to greet you in the field. Total overgrown puppy mentality. He leads, ties, and picks up his feet— good for farrier (great feet— barefoot), baths etc.…. Sound, clean legs, no vices. Happy living out or being in a stall Remi now has 90+ days of professional undersaddle work on him. He has great groundwork foundation, ground ties (or ties) for tacking up, lowers his head to accept the bridle, and will move over to fence to help you get on. He is going very nicely w/t/c undersaddle, is soft through the bridle and responsive. He knows how to side pass, move his haunches and individually target moving a specific leg/body part. You can open and close gates off his back, ride him with a flag, etc. He has been doing a ton of trail riding, crosses creeks, rides past cows, etc. He will ride out alone or with friends and doesn’t care if he leads or follows. He keeps his cool if his friends on a trail leave him alone. Great brain! He could probably be a hubby horse, though it would be a waste of his ability and potential. He would make an amazing foxhunter or hill topper! Or even a lower level eventer! Draft dressage? Definitely could excel as a vaulting horse too with his beautiful canter and giant size. Truly a super cool horse!
