Faith is a stellar example of a Fell pony, sweet as sugar, an agile mover, spot-on conformation. We have her full sister as well, both are seal brown, one imported at their dam's side. Faith was imported (in utero) last year. Bybeck Victoria is the niece to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Bybeck Nightingale. Bybeck was one of the few true hill breeders in Cumbria, now retired. The Reggae King, Faith's sire, is starting to win some ribbons across the pond and is by Bowthorne Black Bobby whom is by Lunesdale Black Ice, Supreme Champion Stallion, FPS Stallion & Colt Show 2019 and is out of my favorite UK based Fell mare residing at Lammerside, Stockleylane Annie, whom just won the Progeny class at the Fell Pony Society Breed Show in 2023. Bybeck Victoria's sire, Wellbrow Lancashire Lad, won Supreme Champion at the FPS Stallion show in 2012 as a youngster. Foal basics, leading, handling, haltering, picking up hooves, working with the vet have been done and are progressing and Faith is handled daily. Being reared at a large horse boarding facility, living out 24/7 on hilly pasture, regular exposure to sights and sounds of tractors/large equipment. Faith shows a generous amount of curiosity and self preservation at the same time. At the age of 6 months, Faith does obstacle work at liberty with +R training with ease. She's reward driven, only needs a variety of scratches to give her confidence and solve the quandary of what's being asked by her human. She lives in a herd with different ages of ponies, and holds her own quite well at a young age. Dam is very laid back. Both sisters are available, the one that does not sell first stays with us. Forming a breeding program so do not need to keep two full sisters, and if a perfect home is not found, both will stay with our herd 'til the right situation is found. They are only one year apart in age, and are identical. Please do your research on the breed and lines before inquiring, open to all questions about them and the breed. Preference to an experienced Fell home or to a home seriously interested in the conservation and promotion of the Fell pony breed. Registration pending, Dam, Bybeck Victoria’s lab work showed she is an FIS carrier. Could test the filly if requested, but if no interest in breeding, not necessary. Any fis carrier pony can breed with a non carrier without issue. Just cannot breed two carriers.
