Luna is a 10 year old, 14 hand, leopard Appaloosa, mare. Luna is trained walk, trot and canter. Luna is a very safe horse. She has been ridden in the arena, on trails, bareback, double, and swimming with a rider. Luna is a more forward horse and requires half halts to stay rhythmic and slow in the arena. For this reason, she is not a beginner horse but would do fine with an advanced beginner. Luna is very sweet and gentle girl. She is not overly affectionate with everyone but she loves her main person and bonds deeply with that person and she LOVES all foals. In addition to being a riding horse, Luna has produced some beautiful foals and she loves to be a mom. Luna has produced two leopard appaloosa, one blanket pattern and one solid foal. Her foals have had wonderful disposition and perfect conformation. Luna is completely healthy and sound with no medical concerns. Luna gets along with her pasture mates with no aggressive tendencies. She does not have any destructive pasture or stall behaviors. She is perfect for vet and farrier, leads with multiple horses nicely for barn staff, does not get pushy at the gate, is not herd bound, stands perfectly while grooming and walks right on the trailer.
