Rayo can do everything : dressage, jumping small courses, trail riding anywhere or doing tricks like being ridden without a bridle. He can excel in dressage, western dressage or working equitation - and even could go to low hunter if needed!
This fancy boy got imported from Spain in 2021 and we took our time teaching him correct basics. He went to many schooling shows, scoring up to 68+ at Training level. He also went to a few clinics and hunter paces with an adult amateur, and even went to two big stay-over dressage shows where the judge commented on how willing he was!
We put a beginner kid on him and he was so patient and cautious and did not take one wrong step. Same when we tried to ride him without a bridle, and with just a rope around the neck.
He is just so smart and wants to please every human he meets! Everyone who meets him falls in love with his puppy dog personality and his gorgeous looks! Trainers and judges loves his trainability and gaits.
Finish him your way - he can go any direction you want him to go. He has the ability to sit and the gaits for upper level dressage, he has the intelligence and focus needed for working equitation, and would love to also go on the trails with you!
Rayo has been at the farm for almost two years, we love him and know him inside out. We are looking for the perfect home for him, so that he can excel with his own human.
He sticks right between 15.3 and 16h, we have had him barefoot, no vet issues, no soundness issues whatsoever - he is built like a tank, but moves like a ballerina! Lives outside 24/7 but loves to come in a stall at night, he is just as easy keeper as it gets.
