This handsome palomino colt is sure to be a good one, based on his bloodlines/breeding alone. He is already showing a lot of personality and athleticism as he plays in the pasture.
Shiney Ice (SG Frozen Enterprize x Miss Shining Jewel, by Shining Spark) is going to be a phenomenal producer. She is a thick-built mare that will make her offspring have good, significant bone and substance to withstand the rigors of training, regardless which direction you choose to go. Although she was intended to be a show horse, unforeseen circumstances kept her from a show career. We're certain she will hold her own as a broodmare for Shield H Quarter Horses though.
Gunners Tinseltown, known as “Gunny,” is a 2009 Sorrel Stallion bred and owned by Silva Reining Horses. During his show career Gunners Tinseltown earned $307,328 and won many prestigious championship titles, including the the 2012 NRHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion.
Gunny is sired by the NRHA and AQHA Hall of Fame sire Colonels Smoking Gun, known as “Gunner.” Gunner was by Colonelfourfreckle and out of Katie Gun. During his lifetime, Gunner earned more than $173,000, and his offspring have accumulated more than $7 million in NRHA earnings! Gunner was laid to rest in July of 2013. Gunners Tinseltown is one of the top-earning sons of the legendary sire, Gunner.
Gunners Tinseltown’s Dam, Miss Tinseltown, had a standout show career of her own. She was the first mare in NRHA history to score in the above 230, winning the 1999 NRBC with an amazing score of 233.5! In June of 2014, Miss Tinseltown was crowned as NRHA’s all-time leading dam. As of November of 2016, her 11 foals had total earnings of $741,156 for an average of $67,377 each.
