Charlie is a wonderful, 6 year old, Gypsy gelding. Everyone who sees him can't help from commenting on his two beautiful, deep blue eyes. After riding with him, they can't believe he's so steady and young. Charlie is a master trail horse who has been ridden extensively on Northern California's busiest trails from Hidden Falls to Empire Mine and more. He's calm, careful, quiet on the trails and once he's seen something a few times, he's quite comfortable. He's also curious and loves to learn new things. He's used to e-bikes, strollers, dogs, bridges, geese, turkeys, alpacas, cattle, and most common objects encountered on the trails. Charlie has helped train younger horses on the trail, with his calm, careful manner, and he's happy being the lead horse or the caboose, riding in a group or alone. With just the right amount of go and whoa I see a bright future for him. He's just starting out his life and can go in any direction, from a children's hunter, jumper, trail horse, team penner, or cart horse. Charlie is a light framed, athletic Gypsy perfect for someone who wants a more versatile horse. His video will show you some of the things he's been exposed to, such as the Auburn Christmas parade of lights, and pulling a cart, lateral movement, and riding on the beach, but seeing him in person will give you more of a glimpse of his calm, sweet, gentle nature. Charlie has been with a professional trainer for 3 years to ensure a horse that has been exposed to bareback riding, mounting from the side of the trailer, to fly spray, blanketing, clipping and everything a horse might encounter in a lifetime.
