Theodore is a 2023 KWPN colt by Franklin out of a Rascalino x Wuemmestern mare. "Teddy" is a well put together colt, with long legs, a compact and strong topline, good substance, and powerful gaits. He was awarded 1st Premium at his KWPN Keuring and Dressage site CHAMPION. The judges noted his lovely front end, power, uphill build and movement, and his good mechanics, as well as his correct confirmation.
Teddy is a joy to watch with athleticism, as he knocks out tempi changes, pirouettes, and big extensions in the field. He has a lovely neck that ties nicely into a big should, which he moves freely through. He always moves uphill, has a big and bold canter, and lots of power in the trot. He has a great temperament and is friendly without invading your space.
Sire FRANKLIN: Franklin is an extremely interesting champion stallion by the popular and internationally recognized Ampére (Rousseau). Franklin was 2013 champion of the licensing of the KWPN and confirmed the reward of that honor with a remarkable performance test result: 9.5 for the canter, the self-carriage and balance,. 9.0 for rideability and dressage potential, 8.5 for the trot. The pedigree of Franklin shows highly interesting line breeding to the stallion legends Ferro and Flemmingh. “The champion of the KWPN stallion show, Franklin (by Ampère) was also the best of the performance test. The dressage stallion was bred by Stal Gasaya in Dorst.”
Dam RHIANNON: Rhiannon had a successful dressage career and even dabbled in hunters where she was also very successful – a testament to her willing nature and outstanding temperament. Wuemmestern is known for passing on great temperaments, specifically rideability and trainability. Nini is a classic mare with lovely gaits and gorgeous lines.

Theodore, like his siblings before him, is capable of reaching the FEI levels with a professional or an ambitious AA, but has the temperament to also be handled most AAs!
