Meet "Tilly"! Tilly is a 4 yr old (5/10/20) sturdy 15.1 hh Gypsy Vanner/Paint mare located in Franksville, WI. This cross gives her a little more bulk to fill up even a taller rider's leg (I'm 5'10" and feel comfortable), yet she is light enough to have well balanced and athletic gaits. Professionally, lightly, and correctly started walk, trot and canter and has never offered to buck, rear or do anything naughty under saddle. Tilly has a wonderful brain and has been very easy to train. Lunges, ground drives and has done pole work. She has been introduced to leg-yield, turn on the forehand and shoulder-in. She has also been through a jump chute and jumped in-hand over small cross-country jumps including a ditch, banks, tires, logs, and water and she loved it. This past weekend, Tilly was introduced to jumping small cross-rails under saddle and was very willing. Tilly has been trail riding and was exposed to walking over bridges and riding on the road with bicycles, cars, people and dogs passing and handled it all calmly. She has been ridden out alone and with other horses. Loads in the trailer well and has gone on many field trips. She has done several clinics, a dressage schooling show, and an Equine Trail Sports event in-hand trail course. Tilly won her 3 Intro level dressage tests and acted like a seasoned pro at her first show. Tilly is a barn favorite and loves hanging out with people, resting her head on their shoulder, and "helping" anyone who visits her paddock. Tilly is non-mareish and is a delight to work with, truly the sweetest horse I have ever met. She believes that all horses and people should be her best friends. Easy keeper on a ratio balancer, barefoot and lives outside, but is also ok being in a stall. Tilly has given pony rides to kids and has been used for lessons with intermediate riders. While Tilly has a great brain and is very levelheaded, she is still a young horse, and is recommended for an experienced rider, or intermediate rider working with a trainer. Starting at $20,000 and flexible for the BEST home. PM for any further questions. Video Link: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBWHWNLAvWJCoITRZ9jQo7O0gaeykHmVT&si=5Gx5eXD7Np9FYzeg
