Valentine….. to some him up in the first short sentence would be, ONCE in a lifetime horse. This gorgeous boy has the heart and personality to die for. Making him extremely personable and gentle. He is so safe and well mannered to be around. Everyone compliments that attribute wherever he goes. Not to mention the obvious factor.. how absolutely stunning he is. He is a 6 panel nn AQHA/PHBA stallion. Valentine is so conformationally correct. He has even been shown in halter classes! He stands a sturdy 15hh and weighs a solid 1200. Prime age of 11 yo. The bone on this horse is excellent. Such a well made horse. His movement and soundness show this. He is such an elegant mover, his trot and lope just glides across the ground. This horse is absolutely safe for anyone to ride. Pull him out and step on him, he WILL be gentle. He has been ridden by children.
He is still a stallion, he is trained to the dummy. He is a perfect gentleman and is completely easy to handle. He makes gorgeous babies, BUT if you feel he is your absolute dream horse we can geld him for you before you get him, and make him the most perfect gelding. He is a wonderful stallion, you’d never know by riding him around or being around him on the ground. Absolutely no food aggression, we groom him, blanket him, and pet him, all while he’s eating. Gets along so great with other horses. You can stall him close to a mare and he doesn’t go crazy. He is good beside geldings, and other studs. No kick or bite, he’s a true gentleman. If you decide breeding is not for you, we can definitely geld him and make him a dream companion horse for you. Don’t hesitate to ask about this. Valentine has reining back ground and foundation, as you can see in the videos. He so incredibly soft and broke. Even ridden bareback and bridless he will spin correctly. And most importantly be GENTLE in that type of situation.
Valentine has also been extensively been used on trails and in parades, where he is a sure shot for safety. He’s seen the down town Fort Worth Stockyards and many more parades. He’s been hauled out on trails and crosses logs, water, etc.
He has also been used to gather cattle and drag calves to be branded. He is so NICE to ranch on. So quiet and easy.
