2016 AQHA mare 16hh with a huge hip and refined features. I bred and raised her. Would make an excellent brood mare as she is a dream to handle. Good to be touched and rubbed everywhere. She has impeccable ground manners, at your finger tips and responsive to body language. She’s been ridden out on the trail/mountains, tons of arena time, crosses water and has even been to some clinics. Moves out w/t/l, working on picking up a soft feel (collection), moves off your leg, has a really nice soft stop, backs nicely and is extremely smooth in all gates. She baths, point her at the trailer and she’ll load independently, halls quietly, clips, great for the farrier, takes and holds the bit nicely, hobbles quietly, will slide over on que and pick you up off the fence both directions, tons of rope work done with her body and feet learning to give and yield, will stand tied all day, highlines day and night, not spooky, ponies great and even packed a pack saddle in the mountains once. Not a herd bound sort and generally doesn’t mind leaving others or being left behind. She is very sensitive and responsive and wears her heart on her sleeves. This horse needs a month or two of consistent work and I believe her quirks will iron right out. If she gets insecure or in a spot where she feels stuck, she will offer to buck but she easily comes right out of it with the right support. She needs a confident rider that can recognize what she needs and is able to support her. Consistent work is something she has never had and I cannot give her. The few times I have had some consistent time on her, she has made leaps and bounds! I really love this mare and want to see her succeed. If you think you may be the right fit for her, PM me. I am happy to ride her for you but I hesitate to allow a try out ride. That can be decided at the time based on experience. Does fine on pasture or hay, no special care needed. 100% sound, vet checks welcome at buyers expense. Four,000
