Well summer has come and gone and my beloved Beau got to go off to Summer School and learn how to become a REAL HORSE...The horse that HATED BEING A HORSE, one that actually had to go out in pasture like other horses now enjoys his days out grazing with his Pasture Buddy , his pony friend " Vegas". He still prefers his box stall to pasture life but has learned that being a horse means "EATING GRASS" spending sunny days wandering around the pasture munching on pasture. He has even spent time sharing his pasture with wildlife called DEER and a few crows that come to steal his treats throughout the day when I go to check on his progress and visit with him. .I think it was as hard on me as it was him making him convert to a pasture boy .Like leaving your child at kindergarten that first day and them standing there crying as you drive a way. Beau stood at the gate screaming horse screams...don't leave me out here !!! I doubt he will ever LOVE pasture life but at least now he will go out in pasture and not just stay in a stay with brief turn outs.I have been EXTREMLY SELECTIVE where he goes. One HUGE HURDLE has been housing. EVERYONE that has inquired made me feel uncomfortable about his housing, Now I don't have to feel that way as I am the one that made him learn to go out and be a horse .I don't have to worry that he is not in a HAPPY PLACE ...that someone is making him go out in a pasture when he hates being in pasture .I feel he will be ok now and if he will be than I will be so that being said I think it is time for me to allow Beau to find the RIGHT Home .Beau is an INCRIABLE HORSE. He has not been the kind of horse you have to ride all the time to stay broke .He is NOT a fancy show trained horse but does know his leads and basics. He is a nice smooth ride and fun trail horse. The farm machinery doesn't bother him nor do barking dogs. He is just a great horse with a ton of personality. LOVES Peppermint candy, cookies and BREAD and will just about stand on his head for them. He got hooked on bread while we we feeding the deer and the crows and he saw them eating so decided if good enough for them he wanted some too...Now he is addicted and has to have his share morning and night when they get theirs .Does not like gluten free though lol Seriously if you want ahorse that has PERSONALITY and is not a robot Beau is that horse He nickers to you when you call his name or when he sees you coming. He can be 5 acres away and will come galloping when you call him. When I do barn check at night in my PJS and give him a peppermint he will suck on my PJ tail or sleeve, he is a LOVING and KIND horse. If there was any chance at all that I could ever ride again there never be enough money to get Beau from me. The home is going to be VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! He has never been a "KIDS" Horse ,but depending if the kid has guidance and supervision and on the kid, depending on age etc. I think Beau could be for the ri
