He is an absolute gentle horse his quietness and temperament are superb. He is one of those great geldings that is gentle and forgiving enough for anyone, even someone who has never rode a horse, but has the superior handle for an advanced rider and will work when it is time to work. He has been used on the ranch and will do all the ranch duties such as branding, gathering, and doctoring. He is amazing in the hills and knows how to navigate through any terrain. He is surefooted and laid back on the trail. Stetson is absolutely amazing in the arena as well, he carries himself low and collected, has a very soft supple feel. Will do flying lead changes, yield his quarters, side pass. Stetson is an amazing trail mount, he’s been in the river with water up to his belly, crosses logs, climbs steep inclines and will sit on his butt to travel down them too. He never gets in a rush and is as calm as a cucumber always. He has been hauled to see the lights and chaos of town and nothing bothers him. Stetson is the total package, You name it, he can do it, ranch roping, kids horse, or that stunning trail riding companion. He is safe for any age to be around, he will follow you around like a puppy dog.
