I purchased Ruger October 31, 2020. He had 5 months of hunter jumping at Savage Riding! I am experienced person, so I trained him myself. We sat in on some English fundamental lesson classes. I then decided to switch him to western pleasure. He has learned a lot of that, and he does very well under a western saddle. He has a very nice western jog. I am currently honing his lope. Ruger loves trail riding alone or with other horses. I ride him out on my own most of the time. Ruger is brave and likes to lead the trail ride. He has settped out very nicely over the last three years. My 13 year old son gets lessons from me on this horse. Ruger is also gentle for pony rides. He knows to be calm when being lead with a rider on his back. What impressed my ferrier is his ground manners. He handles very well on the ground. He lets me hold his feet and stretch his legs out. Ruger also has speed, but also sanity. He turns well and learns what you want very quickly. He has a great temperament. He'll get sweet on you the more time you spend loving on him. He loves Dumore Apple flavored joint supplement cookies. Those are his favorite. Ruger is now available for lease off-site! Must be within 1 hour of driving distance from 46544. 900.00 for three months, plus the conclusion of 4H season. I am looking for a young advanced rider who will see Ruger's potential and education. Other options include local show circuit. Lessee will be responsible for horse board where he is kept. I will be available to come out and work with him.
