In the year of the colt, I am pleased to offer this lovely grey filly, Agathe Gra (pending). Aggie as she’s known around the barn, is looking for the perfect home. Born June 7th to HF Anna (16-7238-m) and FSF Ole (FSF-M-1235S), Aggie is beautiful with balanced confirmation. She is genetically significant as her lineage has limited representation in the Registry and so she should go to home with the potential for breeding. There are around 230 grey mares in NFHR, making her a member of a fairly exclusive club. Aggie is well handled and has all the skills a 4 month old should. She stands tied, picks up her feet, takes fly spray, leads, loads, and comes when called. She is bold and curious, and enjoys life at a busy dressage barn. Agathe means “noble in spirit”, and she is clearly the daughter of a queen. And just like HF Anna, she is an extroverted thinker with a fancy set of primitives. Aggie is expected to mature at 14 hands: She is over 11 hands and 400 lbs at this time. Aggie injured her stifle in the field at 2.5 months old. She needs a home dedicated to her care, so she can continue her healing. Her care has been directed by Dr. Tracy Turner, and she had a CT scan, the gold standard in diagnostics. She had a round of Adequan, and needs to stay in limited turnout (drylot) for another 6 months. Her injury needs time, and is not surgically correctable. Aggie will certainly be sound for therapy use, general riding, and breeding. There is no guarantee she will be competitive riding sound. I am willing to release Aggie’s medical records to serious inquiries. PPE are welcome at the buyers expense.
