ONLINE AUCTION www.PlatinumEquineAuction.com Meet Jack...15.3H, 13 year old, sorrel white grade paint gelding "Jack" is a big gentle giant! He is absolutely massive - comparable in size to a couple of our huge draft crosses, huge body, hip, and big bone. He has great feet and is barefoot for this video - even on the rock gravel and concrete! He lives outside in a big pasture and is about as low maintenance and easy as horses come! It is ALL smiles with anyone who is sitting on his back! He is so very comfy, solid, and as cozy and easy as they get. He is one of our go-to's for lessons and for guests that come to visit who have never been on a horse and want to go with us on a trail ride or in a parade. He has a lot of handle too, and enough finesse and feel to lope around with his bridle off, stop, sidepass, open gates, etc. - while still also being as point and shoot, easy, and as simple to ride as they get. He has done AWESOME as a first family horse for his past family. He has been to parades, events, clinics, and little playdays - and on tons and tons of little evening and weekend trail rides. He is the comfy one you can grab in just a halter, walk out to and swing up on bareback and go for a quick half hour ride anytime. He is sweet, no non-sense and easy to get along with. Easy keeper, lives outside and gets along with everyone, goes barefoot and just throw easy boots on if you haul to a trail ride or a parade where you will be on rock/gravel or concrete all day long. Simple as they come and ideal first horse, guest horse, or confidence builder for someone who has had a bad experience. In his younger years Jack was used on a ranch and roped off of and he has a super nice handle. He is fun to have along to hold a hole in an alley or help someone sort, works gates, easy for absolutely anyone to help gather and check on - Jack knows the job and knows the drill and won't let you get in the way. Rides just bridle-less or just in a halter and lead, pretty handy broke for such a big huge guy!Jack was just trimmed this week, teeth were just done by an equine dentist, and he was just power packed wormed. If his new owner prefers him to be shod, we can have that done any week that it is needed, he is great to shoe. He will arrive at his new home up to date and ready to go to work!
