Coal is EXTREMELY gentle and anyone can ride him. Nothing phases him and he is as safe as a young horse can get. In the arena, he is very laid back and easy to maneuver. He picks up each lead effortlessly and has great fluid movement. Coal has been ridden by youngsters to senior citizens with absolutely zero issues and adjusts to his rider well. He has been used his entire life on a ranch and is a dependable partner for any task. He’s traveled many miles outside on the country side gathering, used to doctor and brand. He’s done just about anything you can think of working cattle. Coal has been started on the head side and is doing great. He’s good in the box leaves flat footed and has plenty of speed and cow sense. He is a great ride outside and walks along at a nice easy pace. He will go any where you point his nose and doesn’t mind riding alone or in group.
