Stetson is a lovely trail partner. He is very sure footed while climbing up and down rocky terrain. He has a naturally smooth gait that can keep the pace with any horse slow or fast all day long! Will cross water, logs, ditches ect.
Stands still at breaks so u can take pictures or drink a saddle soda, aggravation free! He does great in the front, middle and back of the pack.

Stetson is always happy to see you coming and is super easy to catch! He is great with other horses in pasture both geldings and mares. He is lower in the pecking order here and turned out with geldings. While being great with other horses stetson is not buddy sour or barn sour.

History
Stetson belonged to a neighbor friend for many years who trail rode and loved him dearly. She recently went off to college and needed to find him a new home. This horse has been in my training program for 6 months now and has exceeded my expectations!

He is has a lovely soft feel on the ground and under saddle. He works off of your seat and light body cues so bare minimum hand work is needed with this guy. This makes doing a job with cattle or colts super easy on horseback! Stetson has been my saddle horse for the past couple months helping me halter break and get colts ready for their first ride!

Loads and unloads great! Will self load and back off a trailer. Has been on over night trails tied to high line and to the trailer.

This sweet boy has a puppy dog personality and LOVES attention! He would make a great family horse! Come take him for a spin, he’s even more handsome In person!
