PRICE DROP!! Needs to be sold by June 9th Indy was in a trailer accident 4/12/24, and sustained a laceration to his FL fetlock/pasturn. Has been on stall rest for 2 months, and will need to be rehabbed. He is currently jogging sound with no swelling/heat in the leg Perfect horse for a Jr or AA looking to learn with and have fun! Indy is extremely forgiving and way more whoa than go, on the flat and over fences. Could go in any direction, with trail experience, a good dressage foundation, and a love for jumping! He retired as a Stakes winner with over 140k in earnings!! (Race videos included below) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg7fUzgBclQ&feature=emb_title https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&feature=emb_title&v=EIr-QmB3ti0 Indy has been handled thoughtfully throughout his retraining, undersaddle and on the ground. He was given a full year out in turnout to let down after the track, with the occasional trail ride and constant ground work. No known injuries or limitations. No stable vices, he stands all day long in the cross ties or hard tied, easy to groom, tack, and bathe. Amazing for the farrier, even hot shoeing, easy to clip and loads in trailer well. He has a bold personality and a total in your pocket type (if you give him snacks he’ll love you forever) He has been trained with a strong dressage foundation, schooling 2nd and 3rd level movements, with the athleticism and, most importantly, the willing attitude to excel at higher levels in the future. Over fences Indy has schooled up to 3’6” relaxed and easy, this guy is a born hunter. He can carry a good rhythm between the fences but never rushes or worries about a mistake, no matter the height. He is a push ride that follows the energy of his rider, and the second you drop your reins, he’s head-down, calmly walking with his nose in the dirt. For the past year, Indy has been used as a lesson horse for a variety of riders. He is extremely forgiving and never says no, he is happy to jump from any speed or distance and always get his rider safely to the other side. This horse is exceptionally brave over fences and in his surroundings, basically no spook and absolutely no drama if he does. His first ever outing was to a Boyd Martin clinic and he jumped everything in sight! I could definitely see Indy thriving as an eventer or hunter derby mount. Indy has been to several local and multi-day shows/clinics as well as trailering to trail rides. Never needs to see the ring or the jumps, he can walk right in and do his job. He does not mind loud traffic, children/strollers, animals (cats, dogs, goats, cows), and absolutely loves water! He will play in it all day if you would let him. Whether you ride 2 days a week or 6 days he’s the same no nonsense kind of ride. Stables well but prefers lots of turnout, good with other geldings. No special maintenance, easy keeper, currently wears shoes on all four. S
