Jake is a big, beautiful, well-started 3-year-old Belgian cross gelding. He stands 15.3 hands and weighs roughly 1400 pounds. Jake has been trail-ridden around our property and up and down our roads, where he has easily handled everything. He has also been ponied. He will cross logs and water and go up and down hills. Jake has a very laid-back, willing personality. He stands well to be brushed, bathed, saddled, harnessed and shod. He loads and unloads great. You can catch him anywhere and leave him tied all day without trouble. He will walk, trot, canter, and back. He will stop off whoa and your hands. Jake continues to get smoother, softer, and better with every ride. He feels great under saddle. He handles tarps, flags, balls, etc., without a problem. He has been exposed to a variety of things. Jake has also been started under a harness and has dragged tires and small logs. He is soft and willing. He has the desire to want to work. Nothing I have thrown at this gelding has seemed to rattle him. This gelding has been easy to train. Jake will bring a lot of value to someone’s program. He is well-started and has the potential to go in many different directions, whether it’s a family horse, used for guided trail rides, ranch work, jumper, dressage, driving, etc. He is sound and current on his coggins, vaccinations, deworming, and farrier work.
