Rodrigio is a purebred imported Austrian Noriker gelding, Rodrigo was imported from Austria as a yearling, he has his passport and carries his breed brand for universal recognition. Rodrigio is one of only 18 purebred Norikers in the USA.. Rodrigio is broke to drive single and double and broke to ride English and western. He is very quiet, excellent manners, beginner friendly, small children and elderly people have ridden him on trails and in the arena. He will walk,trot canter, take leads and ride bridleless. He has been ridden and driven with mares and other stallions. There is no buck, he is very calm, not spooky, he is traffic safe both riding and driving. He has been driven to Walmart in the city of Ashland, he has been in most farm equipment. Driven single, double and multiple hitch as well as unicorn. He is great for hunting, he has hunted raccoon after dark and done cowboy mounted shooting. He has been driven and ridden after dark and on moonlight trail rides. There isn’t much he won’t do. Our 12 year old niece showed him dressage. He did excellent!
He is very easy to catch , hollar his name and he comes a trotting, he will load in just about anything you ask him to get in. Rodrigio will lay down for mounting or step up to mounting block, he will sit on his bean bag chair . He will do teeter totter bridges, and cross water. Flags, fire works, tarps, chainsaws, dead hunting animals (if you pack out meat hunting) don’t bother him. He is normally is barefoot with good feet but has been shoed as well. He is sound in every way and will make someone an incredible horse. A great youth or husband horse very trust worthy .
