Huckleberry was foaled May 25th. He has hind white fetlocks and white star. Sire, Robin, is a blue roan and trained to ride and drive. Dam, Berry Blossom is all black. She rides and will begin driving when the foal is weaned. Dales ponies are known for their docile temperament and intelligence. They are also very easy to train. Though short in stature they are strong and stylish, with feathers, thick mane and forelock and impressive knee and hock action. Dales ponies can be ridden or trained to pull a cart. At 14.2 (breed standard) they are ridable and easy to mount from the ground in case you need to get off while trail riding. Huck will be registered with DPCNA as Section B and will be gelded before he goes to his new home.
