Have you been looking for a correctly classically trained Iberian gelding who has a good mind, is responsive, smooth, is actually sound, not get there after traveling forever and he's lame, with no maintenance and beautiful? Oh and he will go on trails, be safe and be your adventure buddy? You found him. His owners also really care about him, are professional trainers and will give you lessons to teach you his cues. Get ready to move your seat and step into an elevated, smooth and collected canter, then stop your seat pitch your reins and go into a lovely controlled walk.

Jeque is REALLY fun to ride. I'm no where near as good of a rider as his owners and I hopped on him and was doing all the working equitation moves (I have no idea what I'm doing) and Jeque taught me all about it. I had a blast with the classical dressage work at well. I am no where near as refined as his owner though who whispers to him. You won't get tired from dullness on this guy, he is right there with you. This is a safe safe horse. He loves cows and is very brave. Can your kid ride well? Yes? They can ride him then!

He knows leg yield, shoulder in, traver and renver( haunches in and out) half pass,
Canter-trot- canter transitions, walk-canter walk-transitions. He is light on your aids and in the bridle. He listens very well to your seat. He goes from canter to walk and go to a free walk without excitement. He collects and extends his gaits with nice elevation.

For people who have less advanced training, he can be a point and shoot on the trail guy or I really enjoyed going on a solo working trail with him where we did lots of transitions off of my body. We worked a big herd of cows on my first time riding him and he was a super star.

I'm listing him for my trainer friends since I'm good at matching horse and rider. Plus selling a horse you like and care about is hard. They want him to find the right fit and won't sell him if it's not going to work very well. Which I consider to be a benefit to the buyer since they won't try and sell you something you won't love and get along with very well.
