She is jet black with 4 whites on her beautiful feathered legs. She has an adorable star and strip on her face. She was born on May 15th, 2013. She is by Jensen’s Shire Bobby Defender and out of a Percheron crossbred mare. She stands at a solid 17.1hh. She has lived on the same farm for her whole life. Ebony was mainly used for trail riding and parades. She was the family’s go-to horse for many friends who didn’t know how to ride and the younger kids. She climbed Harney Peak in Custer State Park numerous times and climbed the high Badlands Buttes at Fort Robinson, in Nebraska. Ebony will cross water, logs, and thick brush, and even follow the marching band in town. She self-loads and unloads. She stands for the farrier and is easy to bathe and clip. Ebony is a very classy horse. She’s got a beautiful floaty flat-kneed trot and a delightful canter with great brakes. She goes around with her adorable nose pointed long and low in true hunter fashion. She’s agile and light on her feet! This girl loves the jumps! She helps her rider find a distance and will take a joke. She will not spook at the jumps! She’s been on a few hunter paces and has attended a schooling show. This mare would make the best hunt horse around or she can remain that gentle giant all-around family type that she is! It’s near impossible to find a horse as well-traveled as her! Ebony lives in Howell Michigan, 48855. Call or text Ellesse Schwartz 248-390-6831.
