The future is bright for this colt! Both dam and sire have proven themselves to be incredible competitive athletes in the show ring and we fully expect this boy to follow in their footsteps. They are always willing to meet any challenge thrown at them and have proven to be unflappable in any environment they’ve been thrown into – dressage ring, crowded fairgrounds, out on the trails, in the pen pushing cows… Both dam and sire have correct conformation, lovely uphill movement, and unbeatable personalities.

Maui is a sweet, in your pocket colt, with a willing, loving attitude. He has taken well to his training and has yet to baulk at anything we’ve thrown at him. Maui leads, loads, stands tied, and is great for the farrier and vet. If he is still with us come spring, Maui will begin his show career where we expect him to excel just like his parents. This boy is capable of going any direction you choose. Steady and confident enough to be a great trail mount or obstacle course competitor; lovely movement, impulsion, and presence to place well in the show ring; and his flashy, striking markings would look great in harness (or anywhere, really!).
