Smoky Mountain Boss, "Pepper" is a 15yo gaited gelding registered with the Tennessee Pleasure Saddle Horse Association. At approximately 14hh, Pepper is a sweet boy who is great on trail and has been ridden all over Norco. Prefers mountain/"off-road" trails to city streets, but will go anywhere. Very smart and learns quickly. Neck reins like a dream. Middle of the road between "whoa" and "go". Ties, trailers, good for farrier. Shod in front. Sound and healthy! No maintenance required. Very smooth and a fun ride! Recommend intermediate beginner rider - can be shy about loud vehicles and sudden obstacles on trail but easily managed and responds well to his rider. Selling because he was purchased for my mom who is no longer riding due to vision issues. She rode him from the time she was 74-76 and loved his compact size and sweet temperament. Pepper loves people and will be the barn favorite - he is my first choice for mountain trail rides as he is sure-footed and does not hesitate on any terrain! Crosses water easily. Would be a great trail horse but also would excel in gymkhana as he is a nimble mover and very responsive! UTD on vaccines, worming, teeth, and farrier.
