Pickles is one of the nicest horses we have ever had the chance to ride and train, therefore an EXCELLENT home is a must. He is truly the ultimate partner.
He has been with us since he was 2 and has been nothing short of a unicorn to develop over these years. We have used him as a ranch horse, he rides english AND jumps, has shown in the AQHA VRH and Ranch classes very successfully. Both flying lead changes are there, full turnaround. I have used him in lessons for various levels from leadline to advanced, and he takes care of everyone that rides him. He has 3 stunning and smooth gaits, a great handle, rides bareback in a halter. He is the same horse with a week off as he is in full work.
He is friendly, kind, excellent on the ground, ties, leads, perfect for farrier and vet.
He is an EASY keeper. Eats free-choice grass and as many cookies and carrots as he can convince everyone to give. I really can't say enough good things about this horse.
