Woody has a great personality and is fun to be around. Everyone that meets him, loves him. He’s a barn favorite. Woody is up for sale because I train horses to sell. I find them good homes where they can be used and appreciated, and it’s time to sell him and start a new project. I purchased Woody when he was a weanling and started him under saddle when he was 2. Since Woody was my personal horse he wasn’t getting ridden as much as he needed because my client horses always came first. However, he had so much potential that I sent him off to a finishing trainer my daughter rides with to get more training on him than I could give.
He was born in the mountains and has been ridden all over in the mountains. He crosses rivers, easily negotiates down fall, is great in rough terrain, and has pushed cattle in the mountains.
Woody has also been shown a lot in the arena. He has several circuit awards in AQHA and some Amateur All Round High Point awards, which includes points in both open and Amateur Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Western Rail and Halter.  He qualified for the AQHA World Show in 2022 and 2023 in his Ranch events. Woody is a great minded 5-year old gelding that is very mature for his age and would be suitable for a level 1/2/3 Amateurs and Youth. Woody is registered AQHA, NSBA, and PHBA.
