Dante is a stunning and proven small tour schoolmaster ready to take his next rider to the FEI ring.

Dante is a fun horse who thoroughly enjoys his job and his person. This is a confident horse with no spook, and excels in the dressage ring with scores up to 70+% at I1. This past year he was Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, “RMDS” I1 and I1 Freestyle champion at championships. He is also year end award RMDS I1 Freestyle Champion, and Boulder Valley Dressage I1 and I1 Freestyle champion.
Over the past five years this horse has been carefully brought up to FEI under the supervision of an FEI 4* Judge and has been well schooled in all basics, making him extremely fun to ride. He gives his rider a very nice feeling through his back and is light in the hand.
His canter is his absolute highlight. He’s schooling tempi changes down to 1s, and easily can ride lines of 2s, 3s, and 4s. He is extremely flexible and can half pass easily in both directions at both trot and canter, and doesn’t have any problems with changes of hand or the zig zags.
He has an impressive amount of sit and knows his pirouettes, both in the walk and the canter.
His trot continues to develop more cadence and expression every day, and is working on half steps with an aptitude for piaffe.
His walk has a nice clear rhythm, swing, and overtrack.
Dante is a horse with a natural motor and appreciates a rider with an independent seat and kind hands. He rides the same in a snaffle and the double bridles.
On the ground Dante loves people, thriving with attention and doting. He loves to be scratched behind his withers, or take a nap in the sun during turnout.
Dante is sound, only requiring minimal, age appropriate maintenance, and is a healthy horse with no history of any illness, abscess, or colic.
He stands for the vet, farrier, bathes, clips, crossties, trailers, and does well off property.
This is the ideal horse for a competitive junior or young rider looking to compete at NAYC or any CDIs, or an ambitious adult amateur looking to finish their silver medal and campaign at small tour.
Prior to being imported to the United States, Dante was a successful show jumper reaching 4+ feet and absolutely could continue in that direction as well.
I love this horse immensely and will only let him go to the perfect, five star home.
