Everyone meet Remey! He is quirky and loves to work. He is a 12 year old OTTB I am currently his 4th owner. Remey had a very successful racing career. He ran his last race in January 2019. The first person who bought Remey off the track, bought Remey with the intention to sell him. He was then bought by a 57 year old women who was told he was kid safe and elderly safe along with trail broke after that lady let him sit for a couple of month, Remey started to display behavioral problems. Around that time my best friend bought him she had him for about a year and worked through alot of those behavioral problems. I waa looking for a horse during the time my friend was currently working with Remey and suggested i give him a try to see how well we would work with one another. I have happily owned Remey for 2 years this April. We have worked through a large majority of his problems. And he is now looking for his forever home due to owner relocating. The quirks to know about Remey. Has special padded shoes in the front. He has to be drugged for the farrier. Will pull back if tied alone. He had a trailer accident when he was a yearling so has some problems loading in trailer, but the last time I moved him to the barn he is currently at (3 months ago) It only took 5 minutes, so big progess was made. Remey needs an intermediate confident rider, some one with a soft voice but firm hand. He likes to test boundaries but isn't malicious about his ditsyness. Remey has never bolted, bucked, reared or threatened to bite or kick. He's been sound the whole time I've had him, only minor run ins with the vet. He's up to date on all vaccines. Teeth floating and farrier. He does require special padded shoes if ridden regularly. I am sad to see him go but im confident that the person interested in Remey will go alot further then I have and ever planned to. I am currently asking 3,800 OBO to help with my moving expenses. (need him gone ASAP). pick up only!
