My riding goals have changed and unfortunately don’t align with this lovely young mare. Mavis is a coming 5 year old half Andalusian, out of an AWS mare (Belgium x mustang) Standing about 15 hands and still filling out. She’s sensitive, bold and forward, but very level headed and reasonable when faced with new things. This mare has excellent work ethic, a huge personality, and can be a little spicy. She would be great for an intuitive and confident rider with a good sense of humor.
Mavis has had about 6 months of professional training and miles and miles of trail riding. She can hack out alone or with a group, crosses bridges, goes through water, been on poker rides and has been hauled all over the place. She’s been around wildlife, deer, elk, hikers, bikers, and 4 wheelers, range cows and hunters. She ties, loads and unloads like a lady, stands for bathing and is good for the farrier. Always the first to the gate, honestly her recall is better than most dogs.
While she has been exposed to all kinds of stuff, she is still a young mare and will do best in a consistent riding program with someone that can develop her natural talent. Serious inquiries only please
