**SOLD** If you are looking for a horse that is proven to win in the morning showing halter and win in the afternoon riding here she is.....a 5 year old AQHA/ABRA/IBHA mare. Piper has never been pushed, her legs are fresh, she has always been 100% sound, requires no maintenance, is currently barefoot and is very easy to get along with. She has been successfully shown by a youth and amateur. She has her ROMs in both Youth (obtained with an 11 year old girl showing her) and Amateur Halter and then received her Superior Halter Championship. She was the IBHA Reserve World CH in In Hand Trail as a 2 y/o. She won a trifecta futurity in In Hand Trail, Lounge line and Halter as a 2 y/o. In 2023 she was a 3-time WI Buckskin Assoc. Year End Champion in Open Mares, Amateur Mares and Pleasure. In 2022 Piper was the IBHA National Honor Roll Year End Champion 3 Year Old Mares and this past year ,2023, Piper again was the IBHA National Honor Roll Year End High Point Champion Open Mares and also the Reserve National Honor Roll Year End High Point Champion Amateur Mares. Piper has been with the same trainer, Cheyanne Craig, since she was a yearling. Cheyanne is known for raising up horses right and keeping them healthy both physically and mentally. The only reason she is for sale is that her owner is retiring from showing horses after 40 years. It is time for someone else to have fun with her! She has a great start in the patterns, trail, and showmanship. She has a 10 jog and will also long trot for the hunter under saddle. She would excel in the walk trot all around. A 10-year-old girl started riding her as a long 2-year-old after just 20 rides on her. She is quiet enough for an experienced youth or select to show in the walk trot all around division. Piper has been shown since she was a yearling so she has been exposed to alot of hauling, show prep, different show facilities, tractors, bleachers, dogs, kids, strollers, tents, cars, loose horses and commotion of all kinds. She clips, bathes, is excellent for the farrier and vet, loads and hauls, has no vices at all. Piper would also make a really neat ranch horse as she loves to lope out and keeps her frame while doing so. She is level headed and confident, so if showing is not your thing, she would make a steady mount for trail riding as well. Too see videos, go to Cheyanne Craig on Facebook.
