Reggie is a 5 year old all around gelding! He stands 15 hands tall and has good shape to him. He has a huge personality and loves people. He will meet you at the gate, super easy to catch. He enjoys grooming time and spending time with you. He saddles well and is good for the farrier. He does not require any shoes or other maintenance. He will self load onto the trailer. He stands beautifully for bathing and blanketing. Reggie was bred and started with a western pleasure background and you can tell it comes naturally to him! He is an extremely nice mover. He is an excellent 4-H or Open show horse. He could also really excel in the Ranch Versatility Classes; he is super versatile and willing to do whatever you want him to do! Reggie has also spent some time around cattle. He has been used to turn back steers in the practice cutting pen and to push cattle into the roping boxes. We have swung ropes off of him and tracked the dummy. Reggie works around the ranch to check fences. He really enjoys riding on the outside and seeing the sights! Reggie is not spooky at all and will go wherever you point his nose; over bridges, up and down hills, through water. He is also traffic and town safe and has no problems saying hi to people around town. Reggie has got an amazing jog you can ride all day long on a loose rein. He has an excellent lope on him as well, he will short lope for the pleasure or you can push him out into an extended lope and cover some ground. He can piviot, side pass, back he’s got all the fancy buttons to enjoy. He neck reins and will lope right off with just your leg. Reggie carry’s himself with a low level head. He is a people pleaser and wants to make you happy. Reggie is the real deal for someone looking for a naturally talented show horse that is so versatile you can trail ride and ranch with him too!
