“Tor The Solid Rock” is a beautiful, registered AQHA grullo gelding. “Rock” as we call him, was born July 15, 2019, and stands 14.3 hands tall. Rock has the best nature and disposition. He is gentle, quiet, easy to get along with, and friendly. Rock has a sound mind and a willing-to-please attitude with excellent conformation and build. Rock is an excellent all-around riding horse. He will ride around in the arena, great on trails, and with cattle. Rock has been used on a small cow/calf operation. In the arena or the pasture, Rock will lope circles, taking the correct lead both ways. He one-hand neck reins, backs up, and has a big stop! Rock rides low-headed with a soft mouth and collects in the bridle very nicely. Rock is a great trail mount. Without question, he will ride up and down steep hills with ease. Crosses logs, and ditches. He is always willing to ride through creeks, deep water, and mud. Rock has been used to help move, catch, and check our cattle, fences, and pasture. He is great at riding alone or with a group. Rock is great with guns, whips, and tarps, and completely traffic-safe. He has been ridden to town in and around traffic. Our son has even taken Rock to local fun shows! Being the rockstar that he is, Rock paid no mind to the noise and commotion. Rock has been exposed to tons of different types of animals, such as sheep, goats, dogs, and cats that all run around the barn, as well as deer, turkey, and squirrels, that have been on the trails. Rock is easy to catch and gets along well with other horses. He stands tied patiently in the cross ties, stands for the farrier, is great for hauling, and loves to be pampered with a bath.
