Max is a 2017 AQHA gelding that stands 14.3HH. If you’re looking to purchase a safe insurance policy that will take care of you, your kiddos and your family from the trails to the arena, this is your guy! He is easily in my Top 5 of favorite horse’s I have ever offered. No matter the amount of time off, the discipline or needs, Max is dependable and up for the task. He has a puppy dog personality to boot which makes it so easy to love him!
Max’s training really shows in the arena! He is very well balanced from his transitions to his maneuvers. Max has flying lead changes and can easily go show in the ranch rail, amateur reining and so much more. Max has a buttery soft slow trot and a beautiful extended trot and transitions to and from both with his riders seat commands. Max is very uncomplicated to ride and could easily be maintained by an amateur or youth from home. Max is very tolerant of a beginner rider and does not get sour throughout a lesson or riders frustrations to learning new things!
If you have no care for arena work, but love to do some ranch work, move some cattle or enjoy the trails, Max is your trusted mount. No matter the obstacles that I have encountered on the trails, Max has never blinked an eye. From wild life, to chaotic dogs he is a steady eddy and very safe. He will confidently ride out alone or in a group and goes absolutely anywhere you point him!
Max has zero vices and if one that I can offer to anyone within confidence. Anyone who can hold the reins or lead rope can own and get along with this sweet boy. He loads and unloads, is easy to catch and stands great for the farrier. He is UTD on all of his coggins, shots, dental and worming. Max is currently barefoot, but I do recommend shoes or riding boot for him on rocky terrain due to his white feet. Max passed a soundness exam with us and has no known health or soundness issues in the past. He is an easy keeper! He does have a small club foot on his right foot, but both my vet and farrier are confident it does not affect him! Max is truly a unicorn for anyone and someone will be purchasing their next heart horse that makes their dreams come true!
