Breeder is Rising Sun Quarter Horses in Arkansas. They have verified his brand as theirs but do not remember the horse. At some point, this gelding's papers were kept back / withheld. He is very well broke, very well behaved under saddle, absolutely no buck, rearing, bite, or kicking, and is good for the vet, farrier, and hauling. Has been used for ranching and on the heel side for team roping. He's thick! He would make an excellent breakaway horse. Will trail ride. He does have calcification knots on his front legs and a scar on his chest - none of which affect his performance. We believe he was abused while in the hands of a prior owner. He can be very hard to catch - but very easy to handle and respectful once you have a lead rope on him. Come try him - you will love him! Located in south Mississippi. He has been DNA tested with no match in AQHA's database (age / not DNA'd when registered?). Per UC Davis, he has tested n/n across the board. Current on shots, teeth, hooves trimmed.
